Paradoxes
An article by Alex Paterson. 'Life' in the physical realms is riddled with paradoxes but most humans dismiss them from their consciousness because... well, they are paradoxes and as such, can't be real... can they?
A paradox is the confluence or joining together of two or more seemingly incompatible ideas or 'events'.
Being in two places at once would be an example of a paradox.
The nature of reality in the phenomenal realms such as the physical Universe is an example of a paradox associated with the perception of separateness each soul experiences in this realm when in reality each soul IS God and the perception of separation is simply an illusion for the purpose of experience.
Many have experienced this paradox during a near death experience (NDE) associated with an incredible sense of ONENESS with the universe whilst still being fully conscious of their 'separate' ego self at the same time. In other words, most people who experience a near death experience report a profound KNOWING that they are the Universe from the perception of their ego self.
The Universe appears to be riddled with paradoxes such as this.
Most paradoxes in this realm cannot be resolved or understood under the paradigm or 'rules' of this reality if only because those rules are really just an illusion embarked upon for the purpose of experience. Perhaps not unsurprisingly the paradox of it all seems to be resolved when a person experiences some form of holotropic state. (the paradox of it all just seems to melt away). 1

1. Holotropic state was a term coined by the American psychologist, Stanislav Grof, to describe altered states of consciousness. Most spiritual experiences are a form of holotropic state.
